I've always been a sucker for all things romantic.
Speaking of one such romantic. I recently had a Canadian artist named Tyson Faa write to me on Etsy to ask how quickly he could get one of these sweet little necklaces. He requested the bottle be sent open so that he could design his own message to put inside. He would then send his Message in a Bottle necklace to a girlfriend of his in Japan. Lucky gal ; ).

I love when people write to me with their stories and ideas! I have had people ask that I write a personal note or a scripture inside the rolled up note. People have also asked to have something else put inside the bottle like a tiny sea shell or a mustard seed. I always do my best to meet their requests and they always look great!

No, I'm not on drugs. I just happen the like classic children's literature. :)
I loooove the book "Alice in Wonderland!" I first read it when I was 11 along with "Alice. Through the Looking Glass." I have to admit that this was my first thought when thinking "if I had a cute little glass bottle what would I put in it."

"I simply remember my favorite things..."
Yes. It's true. This make me feel like singing! But its a heart, a flower and a cute little bird in a glass bottle. Who wouldn't want to sing?!

I made this because I really was in the mood for some color! I definitely got my fix here.: P

??Quick Question??
What you you put in an adorable little glass bottle?

Hello?

Is this thing on?! Honestly I have no idea what I'm doing.

I'm pretty excited and a little nervous about embarking on this virtual adventure. I will be the first to admit that I'm not the greatest with computers so I'm really hoping that Blogger.com will make this easy for me :)

Anyways my name is Janie Cox (ACTUALLY it's Laura but we'll save that for a different post.) I love making jewelry so a few years ago I decided to make it into a business and thus JanieCox The Business was born! I put my heart into making and selecting jewelry that will bring a smile to your face and an "awwhhh" to the lips of those seeing it out in the real world.
